This forge incorporates a double blower, one side is dedicated to inducing smoke removal, the other side of the blower, provides air for combustion, while also adding the bypass air to the induced draft hood.

The brake drum is mirror image machined. The bored hole for the air manifold was started with an existing hole, then moved up and out, with each substantive cut

The existing flange extension is turned off, and the thick section is turned to a specific diameter to correspond to machining fixture.
Below, The larger half round holes were milled in on a rotary table, A matching pair on each brake drum , will be re=milled to fit the rectangular air box. First milling to round was done first just to make it easy to locate the rectangular.

Combustion air is controlled by either sliding valve, to uncover one or both nozzles, or rotating the valve ,as shown, to control air flow.
